(PAOLI) - An Orange County jury found Omega Revelation McCullagh of Huntingburg guilty on three felony counts and two misdemeanor charges related to an incident in December 2014 at IU Paoli Hospital.

It took the jury of 10 women and two men just over five hours to convict 29-year-old McCullagh on charges of battery against a public safety official, resisting law enforcement, intimidation of law enforcement.

Orange Circuit Court Judge Larry Blanton will sentence McCullagh after the jury convicted McCullagh of battery against a public safety official, a level 5 felony; resisting law enforcement and intimidation of a law enforcement officer, both of which are level 6 felonies, and two counts of resisting law enforcement, class A misdemeanors.

According to a new release McCullagh was taken to the hospital for treatment after he crashed his vehicle in Crawford County.

A Crawford County deputy had arrested McCullagh for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

While at the hospital McCullagh became combative with hospital staff and Paoli officers Cody Hill and Brandon Mesarosh went to the hospital.

McCullagh continued to be uncooperative with officers and medical personnel. Officer Hill was injured during a struggle with McCullagh

After the guilty verdict Orange County Prosecutor Kelly Minton requested that McCullagh be remanded to the Orange county jail, pending sentencing. But Judge Blanton ruled McCullagh would be allowed to remain out on the $1,000 bond that had been previously to his conviction.
