Greene County Working Deal With INDOT To Pave Some County Roads

Last updated on Monday, February 8, 2016

(BLOOMFIELD) - The Greene County Commissioners are hoping to collaborate with the Indiana Department of Transportation to pave a portion of a county road.

Commissioners President Nathan Abrams told the Greene County Daily World if approved by INDOT, the county road leading up to the Goose Pond Visitor Center would be paved.

INDOT has a program where they will pave from the state highway to the state facility and could potentially pave two other county roads at their expense.

The other locations in mind are in Greene-Sullivan State Forest and Redbird State Riding Area.
