Filing Period For May 3 Primary Is Friday

(BEDFORD) - The filing period for any Democrat or Republican wishing to have their name placed on the May 3 primary ballot for the election this year wraps up later this week.

The filing period for candidates from major political parties ends at noon Friday.

To file for office, visit the voter registration office in the basement of the Lawrence County Courthouse.
