(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police are looking for a man that fired 10 shots at a home and then fled.
According to police on Wednesday at 10:43 p.m. officers were called to a home in the 520 block of Hays Court.
The 52-year-old woman reported she and her 21-year-old daughter and 2-year-old grandson were inside the home sleeping when they heard gunshots.
When police arrived they found 10 shell casings in a nearby wooded, fenced-in area.
Police say the man approached the home and fired the shots. The bullets entered the kitchen through the front door, thankfully far from where the women and baby were sleeping.
Witnesses told police, the man, who was wearing jeans and a gray-colored hooded sweatshirt, then fled on foot.
Anyone with information about the man is asked to call the Bloomington Police Department.
