Last updated on Monday, February 29, 2016

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man complained of neck pain after a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 17th and I streets Thursday night.

According to a Bedford police report, 23-year-old Ricky Terrell of Bedford was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox west on 17th Street near I Street at 7:18 p.m. At the same time, 45-year-old Lisa A. Tribble of Ellettsville was driving a 2012 Toyota Highlander north on I Street.

Tribble had stopped at the stop sign at 17th Street and thought the way was clear when she drove through the intersection and struck the side of Terrell's Equinox.

Police say Tribble failed to yield, causing the accident.

Terrell was taken by ambulance to IU Health Hospital for treatment.
