Bedford Man Hurt When Truck Flips In Jackson County

(JACKSON CO.) - A Bedford man was injured after he lost control of his pickup truck on a ice-covered road in Jackson County Monday night.

According to a Jackson County police report, 53-year-old Thomas Pemberton was traveling west on U.S. 50 in the western part of Jackson County when he lost control of his Dodge pickup truck. The truck left the highway and flipped.

Pemberston suffered a head and back injury and was taken by Jackson County Emergency Medical Services ambulance to Schneck Medical Center in Seymour for treatment.

Assisting at the scene were County Officer Rick Meyer and Reserve Officer Shane Collier and firefighters from Owen and Carr township volunteer fire departments and Morrison Wrecker Service.
