Last updated on Tuesday, January 26, 2016

(JASONVILLE) - A traffic violation in Jasonville Friday night resulted in officers arrested the vehicle’s occupants on synthetic marijuana charges.

On Friday at approximately 8 p.m., Jasonville Police Officer Jake Gambill stopped the driver of a Cadillac at State Road 48 and Fry Street after the driver failed to signal a turn.

While speaking with the driver, Officer Gambill became suspicious and requested Indiana State Trooper Richard Klun and his K-9 partner Loki to assist.

Loki alerted police to possible drugs in the vehicle.

During a search of the vehicle officers found multiple drug paraphernalia items include digital scales and more than 65 grams of synthetic marijuana.

Police cited the driver 18-year-old Randy Frye, 19-year-old Haley Payne and 19-year-old Malcolm Webb, all of Terre Haute, on charges of possession of synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
