(BEDFORD) - If you are looking for a place to host a party, wedding or family event the Bedford Parks Department can help.
The department provides several options including a new addition - the Community Concourse at 1414 H Street.
The city purchased the building from Arthur Paving Company and has transformed the building which can seat about 60 people.
The rental fee for the Community Concourse and Wilson Park Shelter House is $75.
Thornton Park Shelter House and Otis Park Shelter House (at the top of the hill at the golf course) is $50.
Rental of the Otis Park Bath House is $85 and the Otis Band Shell costs $100 per day.
The Red Brick is available for $150.
The Otis Shelter House and Band Shell are leased April through October. The other rental sites are available all year.
A rental day begins at 8 a.m. and concludes at 11 p.m.
Only credit or debit card payments are accepted and a deposit (equal to the cost of the rental) is due 48 business hours in advance. Rental fees must be paid upon picking up the key.
