Man Arrested After Attempting To Sell LSD

(SEYMOUR) - A Harrison County man was arrested on several drug charges after an incident in the parking lot of a Seymour restaurant.

A concerned individual called Seymour Police Department at 6:20 p.m. last Monday to report a man identified at 24-year-old Matthew Bergman, of New Salisbury, in a vehicle in the Taco Bell parking lot had attempted to sell him LSD.

When police arrived, Sgt. John Watson reported smelling an "overwhelming" odor of burned marijuana coming from Bergman's vehicle.

A woman 20-year-old Destiny Lawson, of Georgetown, and her 8-month-old child also were in the vehicle. Police say the woman was not charged.
