Filming For "The Good Catholic" To Begin Filming In Bloomington Jan. 25

(BLOOMINGTON) - Filming for the movie “The Good Catholic” will begin in Bloomington on January 25.

The movie is being directed by Nashville resident Paul Shoulberg and is about his parents. His father was a young priest who loved his job until he meets a nun, Shoulberg's mother, and falls in love.

The film stars Indiana University grad Zachary Spicer who will play Shoulberg's father and Wrenn Schmidt, who plays his mother. Danny Glover and John C. McGinley will star as priests.

Many of the scenes will be filed at Trinity Episcopal Church, at the corner of Grant Street and Kirkwood Avenue.

Filming is slated to run through February 13.
