Columbus Man Dies From Injuries Suffered In Brown Co. Accident

(NASHVILLE) - A Columbus man has died from injuries he sustained in a one-vehicle accident on State Road 46 West in Brown County on January 7.

According to Nashville Police, 59-year-old William D. Skinner, was westbound on State Road 46 West at 1 p.m. on January 7, when his 1995 Chevrolet Camaro went left of center at the bottom of Schooner Hill.

Police say over-corrected causing the car to spin. The Camaro hit a ditch, rolled several times and hit several small trees before landing upside down partially in a ditch and the westbound lane.

Skinner was not wearing a seat belt during the incident.
