Bloomington Man Arrested After Dealing Herion

(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man was arrested early Wednesday morning after police said he sold his heroin to support his own addiction.

According Bloomington Police, officer armed with a search warrant, seized to 12.5 grams of heroin with a street value of more than $12,000, from a home in the 1310 block of North Maple Street.

Police arrested 27-year-old Charles Beason on three felony charges of dealing in a narcotic drug.

Beason was arrested after police received a time last fall that he was selling the drug. Officers used a confidential informant to purchase heroin from Beason on three different occasions.

Police learned on Tuesday that Beason was making a trip to Indianapolis to purchase more heroin. When he returned police served the warrant on his home.
