(BLOOMFIELD) - Greene County commissioners voted to combine the polling places of Richland 4 and Richland 3 in Bloomfield.
Greene County Clerk Susan Fowler asked for the Richland 4 polling place to be changed, because the site was not handicapped accessible, which presents problems for some voters.
Both Fowler and Commissioner Ed Michael spoke with Bloomfield Fire Chief Lee Baker to assess whether Richland 3 could handle the extra influx of voters. All believe the increased activity would not cause a problem, so the commissioners approved the move.
