(WORTHINGTON) - A Bloomfield teen was injured after his car went off the road and struck a concrete post and fence Thursday night.

According to a Greene County Sheriff's Department report, 18-year-old Alex Brough was traveling south on State Road 157 in a 2008 Pontiac G6 and was traveling too fast to make the 90 degree curve at County Road 850 North near Worthington.

Brough attempted to make the turn, but ran off the road, striking a concrete post and fence.

Brough complained of neck and back pain and was taken to Regional Hospital for treatment.

Worthington Fire Department assisted at the scene.
