(JASPER) - Jasper police arrested a West Baden woman after they found her staggering in the parking lot of the Jasper Walmart on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Police arrested 50-year old Christine Fox after she got behind the wheel of an SUV and backed out of a parking space and attempted to leave.
She was stopped by police.
Fox had a blood alcohol level of 0.23 percent on a portable breathalyzer she later refused to submit to a chemical blood test at Jasper Memorial Hospital.
Fox was arrested on two Level 6 felony counts of obstruction of justice and operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction. She also if facing a Class A misdemeanor counts of operating a vehicle with intoxicated and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangerment.
