(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Supreme Court oral argument scheduled for 9 a.m. on Thursday, in the case of Samuel E. Sallee vs. State of Indiana has been vacated.
The argument will be reset by order of the Court at a later date.
Sallee was found guilty by a jury of the 213 slaying of four people in Waynesville and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on each county.
His attorney, Jane Ann Noblitt argues that the evidence during the February trail was not sufficient to prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
Police says Sallee became a person of interest shortly after the May 11 slayings of 53-year-old Katheryn Burton; her 39-year-old boyfriend, Thomas Smith; and two friends, Aaron Cross and Shawn Burton, both 41-year-old Columbus residents.
Police say the murders were drug related.
