(MITCHELL) - This coming Sunday, South Shore Drill Team from Chicago will be performing a holiday show at the Emerson gym.
According to Gary Rayhill, who books acts for the Mitchell Opera House, the team consists of highly skilled boys and girls who are versed in guard and drill performances set to classical, hip hop, jazz and modern dance numbers and has performed at the annual Persimmon Festival.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for those younger than 18. Tickets can be purchased at ACE Hardware/Ben Franklin, the Gasoline Alley Marathon station and 60's East Side in advance of the show.
Tickets also can be purchased at the door on the day of the event. The west side doors will be open starting at 12:30 p.m. for ticket sales with performance beginning at 2 p.m. The team will perform for about an hour.
Emerson gym is located on North Ninth Street in Mitchell.
