More Than 120 Entries In Bedford's Festival Of Lights Parade

(BEDFORD) - “It’s a Wonderful Life” will be the theme for the Bedford Festival of Lights Christmas parade on Saturday.

The parade will step off at 6 p.m. with Grand Marshal Jack Kenworthy leading the way. Kenworthy is the former president and chief executive officer of Bedford Federal Savings Bank and an active volunteer in the community.

There will be more than 120 entries participating in this year's parade.

2015 Bedford Festival of Lights Parade participants can pick up their lineup information at the Bedford Chamber office starting at Noon today until Noon on Friday. They can also pick up their information on Saturday at the Bedford Lions Club Headquarters located at the corner of 14th and M streets.

All parade participants should enter the parade formation area by taking Lincoln Avenue to 12th Street by Day & Carter Mortuary, then turning left on M Street and asking a Bedford Lions Club member for their parade formation location.

DJ Rick St. Nick with Super Oldies 105.5 WQRK will be broadcasting from the west side of the courthouse and visit with residents from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Then St. Nick will move to the judges station located at the corner of 16th and I streets to announce the parade lineup.

After the parade, youngsters can visit with Santa Claus on the west side of the courthouse square.
