(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man suffered minor injures after his 2016 Subaru WRX collided with a tree that had fell in the roadway Monday morning.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 55-year-old Michael Powell was traveling east on Ind. 60, west of Lawrenceport Road when a tree fell in front of his vehicle.
Powell's Subaru struck the tree and then went over top of it, damaging the vehicle.
Powell complained of lower leg pain but refused medical attention.
A Seals ambulance and Marion Volunteer Fire Department first responders assisted at the scene.
