(BEDFORD) - A Mitchell man was injured after he lost control of his motorcycle on Sandpit Road Sunday afternoon.
According to a Bedford Police report, 23-year-old Kurtis Edmonson was traveling south on Sandpit Road approaching Salt Creek bridge when the motorcycle "got loose" and it ran off the roadway.
Police say Edmonson attempted to regain control of his 1997 Yamaha YZF600, but lost control and laid the motorcycle down on the roadway.
The motorcycle skidded about 50 feet before stopping.
Edmonson complained of body pain.
