City Offices Closed For Holidays

(UNDATED) - All City of Bedford, Mitchell and Oolitic offices will be closed Thursday, December 24th and Friday, December 25th in observance of the Christmas Holiday.

TASC buses will not be running on Thursday and Friday.

All Thursday trash will be picked up as regularly scheduled, and recycling will be picked up Monday, December 28th.Friday trash will be picked up Saturday, December 26th.

Recycling and Special Assistance/Rear Loader pick up will be Monday, December 28th.

The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles license branches will be closed on Thursday and Friday in observance of the Christmas holiday. All license branches resume normal business hours on Saturday, December 26.

The Washington County Landfill and Recycling Center will be closed Thursday and Friday, December 24 and 25 for the holidays.

The City of Bloomington administrative offices, City Hall and other facilities will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's holidays on December 25 and January 1, 2016. Various closures or adjustments are noted below.

Animal Care and Control - Closed December 25 and January 1. In case of injured or aggressive animals, please call (812) 339-1444.
Parks and Recreation - All facilities will be closed December 25 and January 1
Banneker Community Center will be closed December 23-Jan. 1
Frank Southern Ice Arena: closed December 24, 25, and 31
Holiday Public Skating December 19-23 and 26-30 from 1-7 p.m and Jan. 1 from 12-4 p.m. and January 2-3 from 1-7 p.m.
Twin Lakes Recreation Center: closed December 25 and Jan. 1 Open December 24 from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. and Dec. 31 from 7 a.m.-1 p.m.
Bloomington Transit - No service on December 24, 25 or December 3, January 1: all routes will end service early at the same ending times as on a Saturday schedule. BTaccess service will end at 7:30 p.m.
Utilities - Closed December 25 and January 1. In case of water main break, please call 812.339.1444.

City offices will resume their normal schedule on Monday, January 4.
