(BEDFORD) - Bedford city officials passed a resolution naming the city council chambers in honor of Mark Scherschel.
Scherschel has served as a city councilman for 29 years. He also has filled roles on a variety of other board and committees, including his current stint as a member of the redevelopment commission. Scherschel has a long association with the Boy Scout leader, holding the rank of Eagle Scout and has been a leader for years.
