Brownstown Police Needs Public's Help Identifying Suspect

(BROWNSTOWN) - Brownstown Police are asking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who is accused of the armed robbery at the Circle K in Brownstown.

According to police on Sunday, November 22 just after 5 a.m. the man in the photo entered the convenience store at 107 W. Commerce St. and demanded money.

The suspect is a white male, 5 feet 6 inches to 6 feet tall. He was wearing camouflage pants and a black hoodie with an orange logo on the front and back.

He approached the store's front counter and demanded money from the store's clerk. The man, who had part of his face covered told the clerk he had just lost his son.

Police say the man did not get any money from the clerk, but did grab a few packs of cigarettes and then fled the store on foot.

He was last seen running east from the store.
