Boil Order To Go Into Effect Today At 9 A.M.

(BEDFORD) - Effective at 9 a.m. on Thursday, December 10th, 2015, a precautionary boil order is issued for the following areas:

All Bedford City Utilities customers on Illinois Street on the south side of 29th St. This precautionary boil order will remain in force until further notice. The order is being issued due to maintenance to a water main. Customers may experience low pressure or no water while the main is being repaired from approximately 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Bring all water to a boil. Let water boil vigorously for 2 minutes.

Let water cool before using, or alternatively, use bottled water. Pre-boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, brushing teeth, washing vegetables, washing dishes, making infant formula, all food preparation and consumption, and making or using ice until further notice.
