(LINTON) - A winning Powerball ticket purchased at a Linton convenience store remains unclaimed.

According to a press release from the Hoosier Lottery the $50,000 Powerball ticket was purchased at the Casey's in Linton Dec. 23. Betsy Gutierrez with Hoosier Lottery Public Relations said as of Tuesday morning the ticket had not been claimed.

The ticket matched four of the first five numbers on the Powerball, which were 16-38-55-63-67 PB: 25.

The ticket purchased in Linton was not the only winner in the area, according to the Hoosier Lottery. A $100,000 Powerball ticket with Power Play was purchased at the Circle K on Wabash Avenue in Terre Haute on December 26. 27-40-44-59-65 PB: 20. The Power Play was 2.

Gutierrez said the $100,000 ticket had not yet been claimed either.

"The holders of these winning tickets should sign the back immediately and contact Hoosier Lottery customer service at 1-800-955-6886 for specific claim instructions. Both prizes must be claimed at Hoosier Lottery headquarters at 1302 N. Meridian St. in Indianapolis," the release states.

The press release reminds Hoosiers there is "life-changing money up for grabs this week in Indiana."

There is still a chance to win big with Wednesday night's Powerball jackpot, which is estimated at $300 million.

"Powerball players in Indiana are encouraged to always check their tickets carefully, even if no player wins the jackpot. There are always winners at other prize levels. Players in Indiana have scored big wins in recent drawings," the press release notes.
