(BICKNELL) - Bicknell Police and Indiana State Police arrested a 21-year-old Bicknell man Thursday afternoon for allegedly molesting a 13-year-old Knox County girl.
A criminal investigation was initiated on December 13 after police received information a 13-year-old girl was allegedly molested by 21-year-old Juan Onel Vargas, of Bicknell. During the investigation police learned that Vargas was visiting at the teen's residence on December 11 when the alleged assault occurred.
Juan was arrested without incident at the Bicknell Police Department on a charge of child molesting. He was taken to the Knox County Jail where he is currently being held on a $75,000 bond.
