Last updated on Thursday, November 19, 2015

(CRANE) - A collaborative workspace known as The Lock and Key has just launched at Westgate at Crane Technology Park.

According to a press release, The Lock and Key is located in the technology park, just outside of NSWC Crane, and is easily accessible by the neighboring tri-county area. The space is for people to work individually or meet clients in a collaborative environment. According to a press release, The Lock and Key will have a new home in a 10,000-square-foot room in WestGate Academy.

"Collaborating, building relationships, and networking are essential elements that support business development and allow businesses to thrive," says Executive Director of WestGate at Crane Technology Park Don Schulte. "WestGate@Crane wants to help be a regional catalyst for business success and we want our new Lock & Key co-working space to be another piece of the puzzle to promote business in our region."

The Lock & Key is part of Indiana Coworking Passport program, where members from all of Indiana's participating co-working spaces can connect across the state. The Lock and Key is also listed on Bloomington's Switchboard.

According to their website, The Lock & Key provides daily, monthly, and yearly membership rates. The 2016 introductory membership fees are $5 per day, $40 monthly or $300 yearly. These rates are reduced high school and college students, which are $25 monthly or $200 for yearly membership.

Members will receive: Starbucks coffee, high-speed wireless Internet, parking, print and copy machine access, domestic phone calls, and access to WestGate at Crane Technology events.

The Lock & Key will be open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.
