Two Arrested After Police Find Marijuana Grow

(LIVONIA) - Indiana State troopers executed a search warrant near Livonia Saturday afternoon after receiving information pointing to possible drug activity at the home.

During their search troopers found several marijuana plants, grow equipment, and other drugs.

At approximately 10 a.m. officers went to the home at 1093 South Campbellsburg Livonia Road and arrested 35-year-old Cory Miller and his wife 33-year-old Helen Miller after they found more than 60 marijuana plants, marijuana growing equipment and numerous Tramadol pills, a schedule 4 narcotic that was obtained without a prescription.

Both are facing charges of possession of schedule 4 controlled substance without a prescription, a Level 6 felony; two counts of neglect of a dependent, a Level 6 felony; cultivating marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor; dealing marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor.

Both were incarcerated at the Washington County Jail.

The couple's two children ages one and six were also at the home along with a 19-year-old female.

Troopers were assisted by officers from the Washington County Sheriff's Department and the Campbellsburg Town Marshall.
