


(BEDFORD) - Three people were arrested Saturday by the Lawrence County Drug Task Force Saturday.
According to Sheriff Mike Branham, members of the Task Force purchased crystal meth from both 27-year-old Crystal Schofield and 28-year-old Amy Robinson on two different occasions. The total weight of the meth was 3.61 grams.
Then on Saturday around 11p.m., task force members observed a vehicle being driven by Robertson. A Bedford police officer stopped the vehicle on 15th Street between I and J streets.
During the traffic stop officers located 44.65 grams of marijuana, 3.03 grams of hydrocodone pills and numerous items of drug paraphernalia including pipes, cook spoons, and a scale used for measuring the weight of drugs.
Also in the vehicle was 21-year-old Timothy Kern.
Police arrested all three.
Kern and Schofield are facing charges of dealing meth over 1 gram, possession of meth over 1 gram, possession of marijuana over 30 grams, possession of marijuana with the intent to deal, visiting a common nuisance, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kern was also wanted on warrant for petition to revoke probation on a burglary charge.
Robinson is facing two counts of dealing over 1 gram, dealing meth, two counts of possession of meth, two counts of possession of marijuana over 30 grams, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of maintaining a common nuisance.
