Sullivan Woman Crowned Miss Vincennes University, Bedford Woman Receives Community Service Award

(VINCENNES) - Kenadi Ader of Sullivan was crowned Miss Vincennes University Saturday night at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center.

Julia Heatherly of Bedford received the Pageant's Community Service Award.

Ader is a Fashion Merchandising major and is the recipient of a VU Presidential Scholarship. She is a graduate of Sullivan High School where she was participated in the Dance Team and National Honor Society.

Her talent in the pageant was to dance to the song "Fight Song" and her platform is 4-H.

The first runner-up was Annalise Miller, of Vincennes.Second runner-up was Ashley Boruff, Tipton; third runner-up was Kalita Carie, Vincennes, and fourth runner-up was Miranda Dunahee, Bridgeport, Illinois.

The Miss Vincennes University Scholarship Pageant celebrated its 50th anniversary, welcoming back many past Miss VU's.
