(SPRINGVILLE) - A Springville man complained of chest pain after the brakes locked up on his pickup truck, causing him to lose control of the vehicle.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, the accident happened Wednesday just after 7 a.m. on Arthur Road in Springville.
According to police 29-year-old Brandon Hildum was attempting to slow down when the brakes on his 1995 Chevrolet failed and then locked up causing the truck to slide off the roadway and strike a tree and fence.
