Seymour Man Arrested After Firing Shots At Gun Shop

Last updated on Monday, November 2, 2015

(SEYMOUR) - A Seymour man faces at least two charges related to an incident involving someone firing seven rounds into the front of a downtown gun shop Thursday evening.

61-year-old Kevin C. Seville faces one Level 6 felony count of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and one Class A misdemeanor count of criminal mischief after his apprehension and ultimate confession to the shooting.

According to Police Chief Bill Abbott, police believe they have a motive for why Seville fired the shots at the business, but he declined to release that motive because of the ongoing investigation.
