(BEDFORD) - Residents donated more than 6,000 items to the L.I.F.E. Food Pantry on Saturday during the Stuff A Bus event.
Crews from 1340 AM WBIW, Super Oldies 105.5 WQRK and Z102 102.5 WPHZ helped collect the donations and stuffed the TASC buses located at the Bedford Jay C Plus Store on 16th Street and at Walmart on John Williams Boulevard.
The goal was to stuff each bus full of items and that goal was accomplished thanks to you.
It takes more than 12,000 items every month to meet the needs in Lawrence County.
L.I.F.E. was started in 1983. It is a cooperative ministry supported by over 40 churches throughout Lawrence County. The organization provides emergency food assistance every 30 days and emergency rent or mortgage/utility assistance.
