(BEDFORD) - The community is invited to participate in the planning of next year’s Lawrence County Bicentennial celebration.
The State of Indiana will mark its 200th birthday December 11, 2016. The committee will commemorate Indiana's Bicentennial by leading a countywide grass-root effort, giving citizens the opportunity to celebrate history and commemorate the bicentennial in a way that's meaningful to everyone.
Those wanting information or to be involved can attend a meeting on Thursday at 4 p.m. at Bedford Chamber of Commerce.
