(UNDATED) - Troopers from the Indiana State Police will conduct a sobriety check point at an undisclosed location today in Monroe, Jackson and Dubois counties.

Drivers passing through the checkpoint area should have their licenses and registrations available and will only wait briefly while troopers determine whether further investigation is necessary.

Anyone observing erratic driving should call 911 immediately and be prepared to give a detailed description of the vehicle, its location and direction of travel.

Callers can remain anonymous.

The Indiana State Police are committed to traffic safety and will continue to conduct saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints to apprehend impaired drivers and to deter others from drinking and driving.
