(CRANE) - Executive Director for WestGate at Crane Technology Park Don Schulte announced he will stepping down after November 30, 2015.
Schulte's technology and logistics civilian career spans 36 years with Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane.
According to a press release, Schulte has served as the Executive Director of WestGate at Crane Technology Park since April 2013. Before his retirement in February 2013 and his subsequent formal appointment as Executive Director for WestGate, Schulte served as the NSWC Crane Director of Engagement, coming from his prior post as Director of the Acquisition and Extended Enterprise.
In a letter released by Schulte, he said he would like to thank everyone for their support during his tenure.
"It has been a pleasure to work with all the organizations and individuals in our region and in the state of Indiana.
"I cannot begin to name everyone that helped me as I transitioned from federal employment into the world outside the fence, but I have to say thank you to Becky Skillman, MG Cliff Tooley, Duane Embree, Chad Pittman and Samantha Nelson for their patience, guidance and support.
"As I transition into the next chapter of my career I hope to add value to the great regional opportunities we have here in our area on a part-time basis," Schulte said.
