Last updated on Tuesday, November 3, 2015

(OOLITIC) - A Bloomfield girl and others were injured after a two-vehicle collision Sunday at the intersection of Ind. 37 and Patton Hill Road.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 38-year-old Sara Ross of Bloomfield was traveling north on Ind. 37 in a 2007 Honda Odyssey when she failed to yield the right of way.

In the meantime, 24-year-old Shelley Emily was in the turn lane traveling east through the intersection of Ind. 37 with a green turn arrow.

Police say Ross failed to yield at the stoplight and stuck Emily's 2004 Buick Rendezvous in the driver's side.

Sara Ross and her daughter Sadie Ross were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Emily Shelley and her passenger Whitney Shelley were also treated at the scene with minor injuries.

Another passenger in Shelley's vehicle, Elijah Allen was taken by a Seals ambulance to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital for treatment.

Oolitic Volunteer Fire Department first responders assisted at the scene.
