Woman Sexually Assaulted Twice At Bloomington Apartment

(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington woman reported she was sexually assaulted twice at an apartment Sunday morning.

The woman says the assault happened at knifepoint.

According to Bloomington Police Qualters, police were called to the an apartment complex on the city's northwest side at 3:45 a.m.

The 24-year-old woman told police she had attended a party and had went to sleep on the couch in the dark apartment when a man choked her. The man told the woman he would let her go if she had sex with him.

The woman told police the man held a kitchen knife to her throat and sexually assaulted her twice - once in a bathroom and once in a bedroom. She said the man then ushered her out a back door.

The woman was taken to the hospital for a sexual assault examination.

The residents of the apartment, told police she was highly intoxicated when she arrived to the party and she was one of three people that passed out in their apartment.

They told police they went to another apartment at about 1 a.m. and left the front door unlocked.
