UDWI REMC Donates Time, Light Fixtures, Awning, Supplies To Greene County Humane Shelter

(LINTON) - Last week, UDWI REMC celebrated Indiana Electric Cooperatives Community Day by demonstrating commitment to community at the Greene County Humane Shelter, making energy efficiency improvements and performing general maintenance.

The co-op donated LED light fixtures, a shade awning, CFLs, outlet insulators, and outdoor lighting.

UDWI Employees Lydia Campbell, Dennis Cullison, Miranda Dupire, Steve Harp, Lyna Landis, Madison Landis, Michael Nail, and Will Padgett spent a half-day working on the projects at the shelter.

The group presented the shelter with a donation check of $500 from the REMC.
