No Cause Determined In Fire That Destroyed Nashville Home

(NASHVILLE) - The cause of a fire that destroyed a home on Lost Lake Road Tuesday not has not be determined.

According to Nashville Volunteer Fire Chief Dak Kelp, firefighters could not pinpoint any one cause.

Firefighters were called to the blaze at 1748 Lost Lake Road, off Georgetown Road just before 6 p.m. and were on the scene until after 9:30 p.m.

When firefighters arrived the home was engulfed in flames. A man was attempting to put out the fire with a garden hose. All that was standing was the frame of the home.

The homeowners live in Florida; their son lives in the house year-round.

Assisting at the scene were firefighters from Hamblen, Columbus and Harrison Townships and EMS crews.
