(MITCHELL) - The Greater Mitchell Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Times-Mail will host a Mitchell Mayoral candidate forum on Tuesday.

The free event will begin at 7 p.m. at the Mitchell Opera House, at the corner of West Brook and North Seventh streets in Mitchell. The main focus of the forum will be on the four mayoral candidates.

The forum will be aired on 1340 AM WBIW at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

Those candidates are: Republicans Dan Terrell and on the democratic ticket Eugene "Pud" Terrell, and Independent candidates JD England and truck driver William H. Conley.

Questions have been solicited from the public, and after being reviewed, several will be submitted to the mayoral candidates in advance. The night of the forum, those questions will be selected randomly for the candidates. Candidates should be prepared to answer all questions and will have two minutes to answer each question. Rebuttals, at the discretion of the moderator and timekeeper, will be allowed.

Candidates for city council will also have two minutes to introduce themselves to those in attendance.
