(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington woman was found dead in a pond at her home in the 9800 block of West Gardner Road Saturday morning.
According to Bloomington Police, 88-year-old Dorothy Robbins was reported missing by her son just after 6 a.m. Saturday morning. Robbins had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's about a year ago.
A member of the Monroe County Dive Team found Robbins' body in her pond shortly after arriving on the scene. The Monroe County Coroner pronounced her dead at the scene.
The death is under investigation by the Monroe County Detective Division, but foul play is not suspected.
