(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly pushed an 83-year-old man down on the concrete injuring him.
According to Sheriff Mike Branham, at 5:23 p.m. Sunday officers were called to a home at 1489 Wesley Chapel Road after a report of a fight.
When officers arrived they found an 83-year-old man had suffered injuries to his head and elbow.
The man refused medical treatment.
While officers were talking to the victim 41-year-old Kevin Blackburn returned to the home.
Blackburn told police he pushed the man because no one was helping to bail his brother out of jail.
