Early Voting Hours

(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Clerk Myron Rainey says residents can cast their vote early for the Municipal Election to be held on November 3.

November's elections include city and town election positions across the state.

Rainey and the Election Board have scheduled hours for casting absentee ballots in person at the Voter Registration Office in Room 11 of the Lawrence County Courthouse.

The North side entrance to the Courthouse is open to the public.

Voters must present a government-issued photo ID before a ballot will be issued. A driver's license, state ID or federal ID can be Early voting hours were further shortened as a money saving measure.

Voters will still have ample time and opportunity to vote early. If necessary, voters may request an absentee ballot to vote by mail. Voters must submit their absentee ballot application to the clerk's office by Oct. 26 at Noon.

Voters who are homebound or at extended care facilities can schedule the traveling voter board by calling (812) 277-2036.

Lunch times may vary depending on lines leading up to the break.

Poles will be open on November 3 from 6 a.m. till 6 p.m.
