Bedford Man Sentenced To Prison For Dealing Meth

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was sentenced to 8 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to dealing meth, a Level 4 felony in a plea deal.

Steven Allen Roll of Bedford was sentenced by Judge Michael Robbins in Lawrence Superior Court I on Monday.

According to court records, Judge Robbins suspended two years of the eight-year sentence to supervised probation, and Roll was given credit for 113 days already served. While in prison, Roll was ordered to participate in a therapeutic community program and ADAPT upon his release.

Roll was arrested in June after selling meth to a confidential informant twice. The drug deals happened within 500 feet of Bedford Middle School where children were playing basketball outside.

In exchange for pleading guilty to dealing meth, the charges of possession of meth, a Level 5 felony; dealing meth, a Level 5 felony and possession of meth, a Level 6 felony were dismissed.
