(WASHINGTON) - A Washington man was arrested after police received a tip about a meth lab.

On Tuesday, Washington Police Department received information about a possible meth lab at a home on Northwest 11th Street in Washington.

Around 8 p.m., Indiana State Trooper Mitchell Wier, with Detective Shane Staggs and Washington Officer Brandon Garland, arrived at 310 Northwest 11th Street to meet with 51-year-old Charles L. Faust.

While looking for Faust, officers could see precursors and materials used to make meth, both inside the trailer and in the yard.

Officers then requested a search warrant for the mobile home and property. Police found meth lab components, precursors, meth and other drug paraphernalia. The Indiana State Police Methamphetamine Suppression Section was called to the scene to assist in the cleanup of the hazardous materials.

Officers later found Faust at his place of employment in Washington where he was arrested without incident. Faust was booked into the Daviess County Security Center on felony charges of manufacturing meth, possession of meth, possession of precursors with the intent to manufacture meth, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of drug paraphernalia
