(BEDFORD) - South Meridian Road between Boone Lane and Gun Club Road will be closed to traffic starting Wednesday while Duke Energy crews replace poles and transmission lines.
The roads will be closed until Monday, October 12 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily.
Lawrence County Highway Superintendent Dave Holmes says signs and traffic control personnel will be there to assist motorists.
"Residents that live in that area and emergency vehicles will be able to get in and out to their homes," Holmes added. "We ask that any thru traffic bypass that area. We appreciate everyone's patience."
