(LINTON) - The Walmart in Linton was evacuated and closed after a bomb threat was made Friday morning.

The Linton Police Department reports the store manager called the police department at 11:16 a.m. reporting the threat. Employees and customers evacuated as officials searched the building.

"With Friday being 9/11 you never want to take chances," said. Lt. Collenbaugh with the Linton Police Department.

Indiana State Police brought in a K9 bomb dog to go through the building. They report nothing was found.

This is an on-going investigation, and they are going to look through surveillance video.
