Motorcycle Ride Will Provide Free Mammograms For Women

(LINTON) - Pink is the new Greene! That is the slogan for the First Annual Motorcycle Ride presented by the Greene County Hospital Foundation. The proceeds of the event will go to providing free mammograms to women in Greene County.

The ride will take place on Saturday, September 26, but early registration ends this Friday. By signing up for early registration, riders will be guaranteed a t-shirt. Riders can register until 9:30 a.m. on the day of the ride.

Registration for a single rider is $25, which includes a t-shirt and meal. For two riders, the cost is $35 which includes two meals and one t-shirt. For an additional t-shirt, the cost is $15. There will also be door prizes and drawings the day of the event.

Riders will meet at the Greene County General Hospital Cafeteria prior to 10:30 a.m.

The ride will last three hours, and will cover both the east and west sides of the county and then riders will return to the hospital for lunch.
