(BLOOMINGTON) - A man was injured after he fell 30-feet from a cliff at Cedar Bluff Park, in the 8500 block of South Ketcham Road, Monday evening.
Perry-Clear Creek firefighters were called to a trail at 6:18 p.m.
The man's friends called 911 at 6:18 p.m. saying the man had fallen. The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department received that 911 call and then alerted Monroe County Sheriff's Department who called out Perry Clear Creek first responders.
Firefighters move the man, who was semi-conscious, to the side of the rocky creek bed and he was transported by ambulance to IU Health Bloomington Hospital for treatment.
Firefighters did not immediately know the man's name, age or condition.
